I froze, my back still turned towards her− because if I faced her, I knew I would break down.

With clenched fists and a voice that was barely steady, I whispered "Go away"

And without giving a glance to her I walked away, leaving her shattered in the silence. The one thing I swore that I will never do. I ended up doing that.
